Memorandum of collaboration between the NATIONAL GAS COMPANY and the French energy group Gaz de France was signed yesterday in Paris by the chairman and directing adviser of NATIONAL GAS COMPANY Makis Papageorgiou and his obligation of Gaz de France, Jean Francois Cirelli.
Memorandum of Understanding concerns the supply of NATIONAL GAS COMPANY with liquefied natural gas (LNG) but also the investigation of possibility of collaboration of two groups in markets LNG of South-eastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the form of concrete binding agreements in interval of one year, when or it ceases it is in effect, or the two companies they will agree his renewal, the NATIONAL GAS COMPANY seeks it covers her permanently increasing needs in liquefied natural gas avoiding the precise spot market.
Today the NATIONAL GAS COMPANY is supplied natural gas from Algeria with base long-lasting agreement with the company Sonatrach which forecasts the market maximum 900 millions of cubic metres of liquefied gas annually. |
